Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is hiring Sales Development Representatives across South Africa who are hungry to open doors and drive pipeline. You will own the top of the funnel—researching ideal accounts, identifying decision makers and booking discovery calls with qualified prospects.

We seek at least 2 years in SDR/BDR or SaaS, strong written outreach, and familiarity with Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to manage your own pipeline in a fully remote SA role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in SDR/BDR or similar role.
• Strong written communication and personalized outreach.
• Experience with outbound sales tools.
• Familiarity with Salesforce or CRM tooling.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build contact lists.
• Craft and execute outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
