Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to open doors and build pipeline across South Africa. You will research, contact, and qualify decision makers, and set discovery calls for the Account Executives.

You’ll leverage tools like LinkedIn Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to execute thoughtful outreach, maintain your own pipeline, and hit volume targets while keeping touchpoints high quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in an SDR/BDR role, agency or SaaS experience is a plus.
• Strong written communication and the ability to personalise outreach.
• Familiar with outbound tools and CRM platforms to manage outreach and pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalised outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimise targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
