Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Sales Development Representative to own the top of the funnel across South Africa. You will research target accounts, identify decision makers, and book discovery calls for our Account Executives.

Ideal candidates have 2 years in an SDR/BDR role, strong written communication, and familiarity with tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo, plus experience with Salesforce.

Qualifications

• 2 years in an SDR/BDR role, agency or SaaS experience preferred.
• Strong written communication with ability to personalize outreach.
• Experience with outbound tools and sequences (Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo, ZoomInfo).
• Proficient with Salesforce and pipeline management.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
