Qualifikationen

• Master's or PhD in Chemical Engineering.
• 8+ years in chemical process development and scale-up.
• Proven expertise in process modeling and simulation software.
• Experience designing and operating pilot plants.
• Strong knowledge of reaction engineering, thermodynamics, transport phenomena, and separations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for remote collaboration.
• Proficiency with virtual collaboration tools and PM software.
• Experience with sustainability assessments and green chemistry is desirable.

Aufgaben

• Lead scale-up activities from concept design to pilot plant validation.
• Develop PFDs, P&IDs, mass and energy balances, and equipment specs.
• Model and optimize processes using Aspen Plus or HYSYS.
• Plan and execute pilot plant trials and analyze data.
• Collaborate with chemists, material scientists, and external partners virtually.
• Conduct PHAs and implement safety protocols for pilot/scale-up.
• Assess economic feasibility and technical viability of scale-up.
• Prepare technical reports and scale-up documentation.
• Ensure designs prioritize sustainability, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Manage remote-scale up timelines and resources.
