Placements24 is seeking a Remote Chemical Process Scale-Up Engineer to drive the transition of novel chemical processes from laboratory to pilot and full production. This fully remote role requires strong fundamentals in chemical engineering and hands-on scale-up experience, with emphasis on safety and modeling.

You will collaborate with R&D, process engineering, and manufacturing teams across locations, define scale-up strategies, and produce design documents while ensuring economic viability

Qualificações

• Master’s or PhD in Chemical Engineering with a specialization in process development and scale‑up.
• 7+ years of experience focused on chemical process scale‑up and technology transfer.
• Proven track record of successfully scaling up complex chemical processes.
• Expertise in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, Chemcad) and statistical analysis tools.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute scale‑up plans from lab to pilot and commercial scales.
• Address scale‑up challenges including mass/heat transfer, mixing, and safety.
• Oversee pilot plant operations and optimize parameters.
• Collaborate remotely with R&D chemists, process engineers, and manufacturing teams.
• Perform process modeling and simulation to predict scale‑up behavior.
