Blacksmith Agency in South Africa is seeking a driven Sales Development Representative to own the top of the funnel—research accounts, source decision makers, and book meetings with qualified clients.

You will craft personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone, then maintain Salesforce and SalesLoft records while driving high-quality pipeline for our sales team from a remote setup across South Africa.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR or BDR role, agency or SaaS experience a plus.
• Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
