Placements24 is seeking a specialized Rotating Equipment Engineer to join a remote engineering team. You will specify, design, troubleshoot, and optimize turbines, compressors, and pumps across global operations, applying your deep technical knowledge to improve reliability and uptime.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience focused on rotating equipment engineering.
• In-depth knowledge of rotating machinery operation and failure modes.
• Experience with vibration analysis, rotor dynamics and performance testing.
• Familiarity with API and ASME industry standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for remote diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Specify, design, and select rotating equipment (turbines, compressors, pumps, motors) for various industrial applications.
• Develop and implement condition monitoring and predictive maintenance programs for rotating machinery.
• Perform root cause failure analysis (RCFA) on rotating equipment failures and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide technical support and expertise to field operations, maintenance teams, and project engineers globally.
• Review and approve vendor technical proposals and drawings related to rotating equipment.
• Stay current with industry best practices, new technologies, and advancements in rotating equipment engineering.
