Placements24 is seeking a Rotating Equipment Mechanical Engineer to oversee the integrity, reliability and performance of rotating machinery such as pumps, turbines, and compressors. The role focuses on minimizing downtime and optimizing output at facilities in Mahikeng, within the North West region.

The ideal candidate holds a Mechanical Engineering degree with 6+ years of rotating equipment experience and proficiency in RCM and predictive maintenance, plus CAD skills for analysis and design

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 6+ years of specialized experience with rotating equipment.
• Experience with reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) and predictive maintenance techniques.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical design, analysis, and troubleshooting for rotating equipment.
• Develop and implement inspection, testing, and maintenance strategies for critical assets.
• Conduct RCFA and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide technical support for procurement, installation and commissioning of new rotating equipment.
• Ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices in rotating machinery management.
• Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to enhance reliability and performance.
