Job summary

Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced Revenue and Reservations Supervisor for a prestigious 5-star hotel in Franschhoek, Western Cape. You will oversee reservations operations, optimise occupancy and revenue, and ensure an exceptional guest experience from booking through to arrival.

The ideal candidate has supervisory experience in a hotel environment, strong knowledge of PMS and distribution channels, and excellent communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in reservations, revenue or hotel operations required.
• 2–3 years in supervisory or team lead role preferred.
• Experience in 4- or 5-star hotel environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of reservations systems and distribution channels.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
• Good numerical and analytical skills with a commercial approach.
• Ability to work accurately under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day reservations operations.
• Supervise reservations team with training and development.
• Monitor occupancy, rates and booking patterns to maximise revenue.
• Implement effective revenue management and pricing strategies.
• Maintain accurate reservations records and processing.
• Monitor OTAs and distribution platforms.
• Analyse reservation and revenue reports.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Sales, Finance and Management.
• Handle guest enquiries and requests with personalised service.
• Forecasting, reporting and rate parity across channels.
• Ensure procedures and hotel standards are followed.
• Resolve booking-related issues promptly.
