Job summary

Placements24 seeks an experienced Remote Renewable Energy Project Manager to lead planning, execution, and delivery of solar and wind projects across South Africa. You will coordinate cross-functional teams from a remote location, manage budgets, and ensure on-time, within-scope results for a growing portfolio of clean energy assets.

Requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering/Construction Management or related field, 5+ years in PM with renewables, and strong leadership and communication skills for a

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Engineering/Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience, renewable energy preferred.
• PMP certification is a plus.
• Experience managing budgets, schedules and resources.
• Experience working in remote or distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee renewable energy projects from concept to commissioning.
• Develop and manage plans, schedules, budgets and resources for multiple projects.
• Coordinate virtual project team meetings and stakeholder alignment.
• Identify and mitigate project risks in compliance with regulations.
• Manage relationships with vendors, contractors and authorities.
• Track progress and report updates to senior management and clients.
