Placements24 is seeking a Renewable Energy Project Developer to identify and secure new solar and wind opportunities, primarily remotely. The role emphasizes building relationships with landowners and securing permits while navigating project financing and development.

You will drive growth by evaluating sites, developing project pipelines, and presenting financial models to investors. A strong track record in energy development and stakeholder negotiation is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field; Master's preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in renewable energy project development.
• Proven ability to identify opportunities, conduct due diligence, secure permits.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills with diverse stakeholders.
• Familiarity with project finance, PPA structures, and energy regulations.
• Proven track record bringing projects to financial close.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate sites; conduct feasibility studies.
• Develop and manage project pipelines from concept to financial close and construction readiness.
• Negotiate land leases, PPAs, and contracts.
• Build relationships with landowners, authorities, utilities, and investors.
• Present proposals and financial models to stakeholders and investors.
• Stay informed about market trends, regulatory changes, and tech advances.
