Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is expanding its sales team and seeking motivated Sales Development Representatives to build pipeline across South Africa. You will research target accounts, identify decision makers and book qualified meetings for our Account Executives.

This full-time, remote role requires strong written communication, persistence and familiarity with outbound tools. You will maintain clean records in Salesforce and contribute to a high-velocity outbound process from anywhere in South Africa.

Qualifications

• B2B sales experience preferred and quota-bearing history.
• 2 years in SDR/BDR roles; agency or SaaS experience is a plus.
• Strong written communication and ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo, ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
