Job summary

Our client in Centurion, Gauteng, is seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Technician for a fully remote role. You will develop QA plans, conduct rigorous testing, and collaborate with production, engineering, and R&D to sustain top product quality.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in QA/QC in manufacturing, solid knowledge of ISO 9001 and SPC, and strong analytical and documentation skills. Remote work with ongoing quality improvements is offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control within manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and SPC practices.
• Proficient in testing methodologies and precision measuring instruments.
• Analytical with strong documentation and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work remotely and communicate clearly with teams.
• Experience with QA software/tools and relevant certifications is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement QA plans and test procedures.
• Inspect raw materials, in-process components, and finished products.
• Analyze results, identify deviations, and document findings.
• Collaborate remotely with production, engineering, and R&D to fix quality issues.
• Maintain records of QC activities, test results, and non-conformances.
• Calibrate and maintain testing equipment and lab instruments.
• Keep up-to-date with industry standards and regulations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of quality management systems.
• Prepare quality performance reports for management review.
