Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Remote Quality Control Specialist to support manufacturing operations primarily in Gauteng. You will develop QC protocols, analyze inspection data, and collaborate with production teams to address deviations from a remote location.

The role requires a strong background in quality management, 3+ years in manufacturing QA/QC, and knowledge of SPC/ISO 9001. You will contribute to product integrity and customer satisfaction while working independently from home.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of QA/QC in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of SPC and ISO 9001.
• Strong data analysis and reporting abilities.
• Excellent remote collaboration and communication.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain QC procedures for manufacturing.
• Conduct inspections of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
• Analyze quality data to identify trends and root causes of defects.
• Prepare quality reports and CAPAs (corrective actions).
• Collaborate with remote production and engineering teams to resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate quality records and documentation.
• Participate in audits as required.
• Stay updated on QC best practices and trends.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in quality management.
