Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a meticulous and analytical Remote Quality Control Analyst to join its QA team. This fully remote role involves evaluating specifications, conducting tests, and ensuring products meet stringent quality standards before release.

You will support Upington and the Northern Cape region with rigorous QA practices and remote collaboration. The ideal candidate has 4+ years in manufacturing QC/QA, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with testing equipment and ISO 9001

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or related technical field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in quality control/assurance within manufacturing.
• Strong ability to interpret technical drawings, specs and test protocols.
• Experience with various testing methods and equipment relevant to industrial products.
• Excellent documentation and reporting skills.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving capabilities with meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed quality inspections and analyses of manufactured products according to established standards and specifications.
• Conduct various tests using appropriate equipment to assess product performance, durability, and compliance.
• Analyze test results and product data, identifying deviations from quality requirements.
• Document inspection findings, test results, and any non-conformities accurately.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain records of quality control activities and ensure traceability of materials and products.
• Stay updated on quality control techniques, industry best practices, and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Prepare quality reports and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of quality control processes and procedures.
• Ensure the proper calibration and maintenance of testing equipment.
