Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance Specialist to join a fully remote team. You will develop, implement, and maintain QMS, perform audits, and ensure GMP compliance across global operations.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in pharmaceutical QA/QC, strong regulatory knowledge (FDA/EMA/SAHPRA), and proven CAPA experience. Excellent problem-solving and remote collaboration skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology or related science.
• Minimum 5 years of pharma QA/QC experience.
• In-depth GMP knowledge and regulatory familiarity (FDA/EMA/SAHPRA).
• Proven audits experience and CAPA implementation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fully remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and manage the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Conduct internal and external audits of facilities, suppliers and CROs.
• Review and approve batch records, validation protocols and quality docs.
• Investigate deviations and non-conformances, implement CAPAs.
• Provide training on QA principles to personnel.
• Monitor quality data and drive continuous improvement.
