Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance Specialist to join a fully remote team. You will develop, implement, and maintain QMS, perform audits, and ensure GMP compliance across global operations.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in pharmaceutical QA/QC, strong regulatory knowledge (FDA/EMA/SAHPRA), and proven CAPA experience. Excellent problem-solving and remote collaboration skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology or related science.
• Minimum 5 years of pharma QA/QC experience.
• In-depth GMP knowledge and regulatory familiarity (FDA/EMA/SAHPRA).
• Proven audits experience and CAPA implementation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fully remote setting.

Responsibilities

About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and proactive Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance Specialist to join their fully remote team. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality systems, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements across the organization. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage the company's Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with GMP and other relevant regulations.
• Conduct internal and external audits of manufacturing facilities, suppliers, and contract research organizations.
• Review and approve batch records, validation protocols, and other critical quality documentation.
• Investigate deviations, non-conformances, and customer complaints, implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
• Provide training and guidance to personnel on quality assurance principles and procedures.
• Monitor and analyze quality data to identify trends and areas for continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical quality assurance or quality control.
• In-depth knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), regulatory requirements (FDA, EMA, SAHPRA), and quality systems.
• Proven experience in conducting audits, managing deviations, and implementing CAPAs.
