Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a proactive Quality Assurance Specialist to join our client’s pharmaceutical operations. The role is remote with occasional travel to Kimberley and other sites, focusing on ensuring GMP/ISO compliance and robust QA processes across manufacturing and product release.

You will audit, review batch records, manage QMS, and drive CAPA and risk mitigation while training staff and supporting continuous improvement in a flexible work setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific or technical field.
• At least 3 years of QA experience in pharma or related industry.
• Solid knowledge of GMP, ISO standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with deviation management, CAPA, and audit processes.
• Strong analytical and communication skills for remote work.

Responsibilities

• Participate in internal and external audits and inspections for GMP compliance.
• Review and approve batch records and validation protocols.
• Investigate deviations, non-conformances, and customer complaints; implement CAPAs.
• Assist in development and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
• Provide training on quality standards to relevant personnel.
