Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Remote Pharmaceutical Quality Control Specialist to support Rustenburg-based operations from home. You will perform detailed analyses, validate testing procedures, and ensure products meet GMP and regulatory standards.

This fully remote role emphasizes meticulous record-keeping, CAPA investigation, and collaboration with manufacturing, R&D, and regulatory teams. A Bachelor’s in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biotechnology or related field and 3+ years QC/QA experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field required.
• Minimum 3 years in pharma QC/QA.
• Strong GMP/FDA regulatory knowledge.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, validate and implement QC testing procedures for materials and products.
• Perform analytical testing using HPLC, GC and spectroscopy.
• Review and approve batch records for GMP compliance.
• Investigate deviations and CAPA recommendations with documentation.
• Maintain detailed records for traceability and audits.
• Collaborate with mfg, R&D and regulatory teams to resolve quality issues.
