Placements24 is seeking a detail-oriented Remote Purchasing Specialist to manage day-to-day purchasing, supplier communications, and procurement records. This fully remote role offers flexibility to work from anywhere.

You will execute POs, source suppliers, negotiate terms, monitor performance, and collaborate with internal teams while staying current on market trends to ensure timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role.
• Proven ability to manage procurement processes and supplier relationships.
• Proficiency with procurement software and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Execute purchase orders and manage the procurement process from requisition to fulfillment.
• Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiating terms and pricing for assigned goods and services.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of all purchasing activities, including contracts and invoices.
• Monitor supplier performance and address discrepancies to ensure quality and timely delivery.
• Collaborate with internal departments to understand needs and provide timely purchasing support.
• Stay updated on market trends and best practices in procurement.
