Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dynamic Remote Sourcing Specialist to join its procurement division. This fully remote role focuses on identifying, evaluating, and engaging suppliers to secure competitive pricing and high-quality goods and services.

You will conduct market analysis, negotiate terms, and build supplier relationships from your home office, with strong emphasis on analytics, independence, and cost optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or strategic purchasing, preferably remote.
• Proven negotiation skills and experience in managing supplier contracts.
• Proficiency with sourcing platforms, e-procurement tools, and advanced Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for remote collaboration.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Identify and source potential suppliers globally and locally, conducting comprehensive due diligence.
• Evaluate supplier capabilities, performance, and compliance with company standards and ethical guidelines.
• Lead negotiations for pricing, terms, and conditions for a variety of goods and services.
• Develop and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key suppliers through regular communication.
• Analyze market data and sourcing trends to identify opportunities for cost reduction and supply chain optimization.
• Prepare detailed reports on sourcing activities, supplier performance, and cost savings achieved.
