Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Project Manager for financial services innovation, with responsibility for fintech product development and digital initiatives. The role is remote, with strong emphasis on governance, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional leadership in a Sandton/Johannesburg context.

You will manage complex projects from concept to launch, coordinating with product owners, technology teams, compliance, and marketing to deliver customer-focused solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, or a related field
• 5-7 years of project management experience in financial services
• Experience with fintech solutions and digital banking projects

Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle of projects related to fintech and digital platforms
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, schedules, budgets, and risks
• Coordinate with compliance, IT, product, and marketing teams
• Ensure regulatory compliance and internal policies across projects
• Report project status, milestones, risks, and issues to stakeholders
