The role is hybrids of in-office collaboration and remote work, aimed at modernizing operations within a premier financial services institution.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of PM experience in financial services, strong leadership, and a deep understanding of regulatory requirements (FICA/POPIA).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of project management experience in financial services or banking projects.
• Proven experience with digital transformation, regulatory compliance (FICA/POPIA), or FinTech implementations.
• Excellent understanding of financial products, services, and industry best practices.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of complex transformation projects in financial services.
• Define objectives, scope, deliverables, and success metrics with stakeholders.
• Develop detailed plans with timelines, budgets, resources, and risk strategies.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including IT, ops, compliance, and business units.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, industry standards, and internal policies.
• Proactively manage risks and issues with mitigation plans.
• Communicate project status and challenges clearly to stakeholders.
