Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.
• PMP or Prince2 certification is a plus.
• Minimum of 6 years of project management experience, with a significant focus on the financial services industry.
• Demonstrated experience in managing digital transformation, fintech, or new product development projects.
• Strong understanding of financial products, services, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and tools.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working remotely and collaborating effectively with distributed teams is essential for this role based in Welkom, Free State, with a fully remote work arrangement.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of projects focused on digital banking solutions, fintech integrations, and new product launches.
• Define project scope, objectives, KPIs, and success criteria.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
• Facilitate collaboration among cross-functional teams, including IT, product development, marketing, and compliance.
• Identify, assess, and manage project risks and dependencies, implementing proactive mitigation strategies.
• Communicate project status, updates, and potential issues to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Ensure projects adhere to regulatory requirements and industry best practices within the financial sector.
• Drive user adoption of new technologies and processes through effective change management strategies.
• Continuously monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform project strategies.
