Placements24 is recruiting a Remote Program Manager for a globally recognized non-profit dedicated to social change. The role is fully remote across South Africa, requiring strategic planning, execution, and oversight of community development programs.

You will lead remote teams, manage budgets, monitor DMEL frameworks, and report to senior management. Strong leadership, communication, and ability to work autonomously in a virtual environment are essential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in International Development, Public Administration, Non-profit Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in program management within non-profit/humanitarian sector.
• Experience managing remote programs.
• Strong DMEL knowledge and learning frameworks.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full lifecycle of programs from conceptualization to evaluation.
• Develop program strategies, objectives, and budgets aligned with mission.
• Lead program teams and ensure successful delivery.
• Monitor performance, track metrics, and ensure timelines and quality.
• Identify and mitigate risks with contingency plans.
• Foster relationships with stakeholders including partners and funders.
• Prepare regular reports for senior management and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate remote team collaboration across departments.
• Champion innovation and continuous improvement in PM practices.
