Placements24 is seeking a highly organized and analytical Remote Production Planner to optimize production schedules and manage inventory across multiple sites, including Mossel Bay. This role offers fully remote work for a proactive planner who thrives in collaboration with stakeholders across departments and locations.

You will leverage ERP/MRP systems to balance demand, capacity, and resources, driving efficiency and timely delivery while maintaining clear communication with remote teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience as a Production Planner or in a similar planning role.
• Proficiency with production planning software (ERP/MRP systems).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Effective communication for remote collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain optimal production schedules to meet demand forecasts and targets.
• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
• Collaborate with sales, procurement, and production to coordinate schedules.
• Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
• Generate reports on production status and planning effectiveness.
• Proactively manage exceptions and adjust plans for unforeseen issues.
