Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Procurement Officer for a fully remote position. You will manage end-to-end procurement, source suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery while driving cost efficiencies and quality across the supply chain.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in procurement, a bachelor's degree in a related field, and strong negotiation and ERP experience (SAP/Oracle). Excellent remote collaboration and compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3–5 years of procurement experience in purchasing or similar role.
• Experience negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships.
• Knowledge of procurement best practices and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage the procurement lifecycle for various goods and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.
• Identify and evaluate new and existing suppliers, negotiating terms and conditions to achieve favorable outcomes.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders, requisitions, and contracts.
• Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify potential risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal departments to understand their procurement needs and ensure timely fulfillment.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, ethical standards, and relevant regulations.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records and databases.
• Proactively resolve any issues related to orders, deliveries, or supplier performance.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement processes and strategies.
