Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Procurement Officer for a fully remote role. You will manage the end-to-end procurement cycle, onboard suppliers, negotiate terms, and ensure compliance with company policies from a distance.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, analyze spend, and drive cost savings while maintaining strong supplier relationships. A remote-enabled candidate with a details-oriented, proactive approach will excel in this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement or purchasing with demonstrated success in managing the procurement cycle.
• Proven ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers and manage supplier relationships.
• Strong understanding of procurement best practices, supply chain management, and contract terms.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with procurement software or ERP systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for remote interaction.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage full procurement cycle for assigned goods and services from requisition to delivery.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers ensuring quality and ethical standards.
• Negotiate favorable pricing and terms with suppliers to secure best value.
• Process purchase orders accurately and track status for timely execution.
• Monitor supplier performance and address issues or discrepancies promptly.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and provide support.
• Maintain comprehensive records of procurement activities and contracts.
• Ensure adherence to company procurement policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare regular reports on procurement spend, supplier performance, and market trends.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within procurement.
