Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Remote Procurement Officer to manage purchasing activities from home. You will source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate pricing, and ensure compliant, cost-effective procurement while maintaining records and spend reports.

Working independently, you will use e-procurement platforms and MS Excel to support virtual collaboration with internal teams and suppliers, driving an efficient, remote-enabled procurement function.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement roles.
• Proven ability to manage procurement processes independently in a remote work environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end procurement processes, including requisitioning, tendering, and order placement.
• Source and evaluate potential suppliers, ensuring they meet the company's quality and ethical standards.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with vendors to secure the best value for the company.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and spend reports using digital systems.
• Collaborate virtually with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and provide procurement support.
