Placements24 is seeking a skilled and proactive Remote Procurement Specialist to manage procurement operations from anywhere. This fully remote role involves sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services to meet business needs.

You will optimize supplier relationships, ensure cost-effectiveness, and maintain quality and delivery standards while coordinating with a globally distributed team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Procurement Specialist or in a similar purchasing role.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks remotely.
• Proficiency in procurement software and standard office productivity tools.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Degree or certification in Supply Chain Management or Business is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and new sourcing opportunities.
• Negotiate contracts, prices, and terms with suppliers to achieve favorable outcomes.
• Manage the procure-to-pay process, including requisitions, purchase orders, and invoice reconciliation.
• Monitor supplier performance and address issues to ensure service levels are met.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, ethical guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across departments and time zones.
