Placements24 is seeking a Remote Procurement Analyst to join a global virtual procurement team. The role focuses on analyzing spend data, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and supporting sourcing strategies from a home office across South Africa.

You will work with Excel, Power BI, and Tableau to develop dashboards, monitor supplier performance, and ensure policy compliance in a fully remote setup.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Procurement Analyst or similar data-focused procurement role.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau).
• Excellent understanding of procurement processes and supply chain management principles.
• Experience with e-procurement systems or ERP software.

Responsibilities

• Analyze procurement data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and process improvements.
• Develop reports and dashboards to track procurement metrics and supplier performance.
• Support strategic sourcing initiatives with market intelligence and spend analysis.
• Assist in supplier contract management and ensure compliance with terms.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders virtually to gather requirements and provide insights.
• Research potential new suppliers and assist in onboarding.
