Job summary

Placements24 seeks an experienced Remote Procurement Manager to lead strategic sourcing, negotiations, and supplier management from anywhere in South Africa, supporting Cape Town teams. The role drives cost savings, policy development, and risk management in a remote-first setup.

You will manage a procure‑to‑pay process, mentor a procurement team, and implement initiatives to enhance value and efficiency across the organization.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive procurement and supply chain management experience, with managerial responsibilities.
• Proven success in developing and implementing strategic sourcing initiatives.
• Expertise in contract negotiation, supplier relationship management, and risk assessment.
• Proficiency with procurement software and analytical tools.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and remote collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies to meet operational and financial goals.
• Lead negotiation efforts with key suppliers to secure optimal pricing, contract terms, and SLAs.
• Manage the procure‑to‑pay process, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency.
