Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a data-driven Remote Procurement Analyst to support global procurement operations. You will collect, analyze, and report on procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve supply chain efficiency.

This fully remote role requires strong Excel/SQL skills, experience with BI tools, and the ability to work independently across time zones. You will collaborate with category managers to drive data-informed sourcing and negotiation strategies.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in procurement analysis or related role.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and BI tools like Tableau or Power BI.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes and supply chain principles.
• Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote setting.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, or a related analytical field.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze procurement data to identify trends and insights.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track procurement KPIs.
• Support category managers and buyers with data-driven sourcing and negotiation strategies.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvement, and risk mitigation within the supply chain.
• Assist in supplier performance management through data collection and analysis of metrics.
• Prepare regular reports on procurement spend, savings, and performance indicators.
