Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related quantitative field
• 5+ years experience in process engineering with a focus on optimization
• Proficiency in data analysis and statistics (Python, R, JMP)
• Experience with process simulation and modeling tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and communicate in a remote team

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex chemical process data to identify KPIs and areas for improvement
• Develop and implement strategies for process optimization focusing on yield, energy, and waste
• Utilize process simulation and modeling tools to test optimization scenarios
• Collaborate with plant engineers and operations teams to implement and monitor optimization initiatives
• Develop and maintain documentation related to optimized processes and best practices
• Stay current with emerging technologies and methodologies in process optimization and data analytics
