Placements24 seeks a highly analytical Remote Chemical Process Optimization Engineer to enhance global chemical manufacturing performance. This fully remote role leverages data analysis and process modeling to identify bottlenecks, drive improvements, and cut costs, with operation across worldwide sites without requiring office presence.

The ideal candidate has a Master’s in Chemical Engineering and 6+ years in process optimization, plus experience with Aspen Plus or gPROMS and APC/RTO systems.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field with a focus on optimization or control.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in process engineering with emphasis on optimization and data analysis.
• Proficiency with process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, gPROMS) and statistical analysis tools.
• Experience with advanced process control (APC) and real-time optimization (RTO) systems is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for interpreting complex datasets.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for remote teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Analyze operational data from multiple plants to identify trends and opportunities for optimization.
• Develop and implement advanced process control strategies to improve stability and performance.
• Use process simulation and modeling tools to test and validate optimization projects.
• Collaborate with on-site teams to implement and monitor process improvements.
• Prepare detailed reports outlining optimization findings and projected benefits.
• Conduct economic feasibility studies for proposed process enhancements.
