About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly analytical Process Optimization Engineer to join their fully remote team. This position focuses on leveraging data analysis techniques and advanced modeling to drive significant improvements in chemical process efficiency, yield, and cost-effectiveness across their operations. You will work remotely, collaborating with plant personnel and other engineers to identify optimization opportunities, implement solutions, and monitor their impact. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze large datasets from plant operations to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for optimization.
• Develop and implement data-driven strategies for improving process performance, yield, and energy efficiency.
• Utilize statistical tools and software (e.g., Python, R, MATLAB) for data analysis and modeling.
• Collaborate with on-site teams to implement recommended process changes and improvements.
• Develop and maintain performance dashboards and reports to track key optimization metrics.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related quantitative field.
