Qualifications
- Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or related quantitative field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in process engineering with a strong focus on data analysis and optimization.
- Proficiency in process simulation software (Aspen Plus, HYSYS) and statistical analysis/data visualization tools (Minitab, JMP, Power BI).
Responsibilities
- Analyze large datasets from plant operations to identify trends and optimization opportunities.
- Develop and validate process models to simulate changes and improvements.
- Recommend and implement process adjustments to improve yield, reduce waste, and lower energy consumption.
- Collaborate virtually with site-based engineers and operators to troubleshoot and implement solutions.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on process performance and optimization recommendations.
- Stay updated on new technologies and methodologies in process optimization and data analytics.
