Placements24 is seeking a skilled Operations Engineer focused on Process Excellence to join our fully remote team, supporting the Sandton hub from anywhere. Lead lean, Six Sigma projects, build analytical models, and implement data-driven improvements that boost efficiency and quality.

You will collaborate with global teams, develop KPIs, and deliver measurable cost savings while shaping the organization’s operational strategy. A Master's degree plus 6+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a quantitative field.
• 6+ years in operations engineering or process improvement.
• Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma expertise; Black Belt preferred.
• Proficiency with SQL, Python, R and simulation tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of process improvement initiatives using lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies.
• Develop analytical models and simulations to assess performance and forecast impacts.
• Establish and manage KPIs and dashboards to track efficiency, quality, and cost across the organization.
• Collaborate virtually with stakeholders across departments to drive improvements.
• Conduct root cause analyses for operational failures and develop data-driven solutions.
• Create training materials and facilitate virtual workshops on best practices.
