Job summary

ScalableOS is seeking a Presales Engineer to help clients navigate complex technology decisions, designing scalable managed services solutions for MSPs, cloud, cybersecurity, and ITIL-aligned processes.

You will engage with clients, perform requirements analysis, document environments, and collaborate with Sales, Projects, and Support to deliver concrete, actionable plans ready for execution. The role may evolve with company growth and requires occasional travel.

Qualifications

High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
5+ years of technical support in an MSP environment.
Strong knowledge of desktop/server OS and networking concepts.
Experience designing cloud solutions (Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune).
Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and service management best practices.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Occasional travel as required.

Responsibilities

Client engagement: participate in scoping calls to understand business challenges and requirements.
Requirements analysis: validate client requirements through detailed discussions.
Environment assessment: document existing infrastructure and processes to identify gaps.
Solution design: develop scalable, cost-effective managed services solutions.
Presentation & proposal: deliver compelling presentations and proposals that articulate value and approaches.
Collaboration: work with Sales, Projects, and Support to ensure feasibility and alignment.
Research: learn emerging technologies to inform offerings.
Educate internal teams on new solutions and deployments.
The role is expected to evolve with company growth.
Travel as required.
