Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Remote Power Systems Design Engineer to join its exclusively remote engineering team. You will design single-line diagrams, perform load flow and short-circuit analyses, and specify equipment for industrial, commercial, and renewable projects.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering with 6+ years in power systems, is proficient in AutoCAD Electrical, Revit, ETAP or PSS/E, and can work independently in a fully remote setup while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in power systems design and analysis.
• Experience with AutoCAD Electrical, Revit, ETAP or PSS/E preferred.
• Knowledge of power distribution principles, protection schemes and equipment specs.

Responsibilities

• Design single-line diagrams, schematics, and construction drawings for power distribution.
• Perform load flow, short circuit, arc flash, and harmonic analyses using software.
• Specify electrical equipment including switchgear, transformers, gensets, MCCs, cabling.
• Ensure designs comply with industry standards and client specs.
• Collaborate remotely with PMs, other disciplines and clients.
• Develop BOMs and assist procurement; support construction and testing phases.
