Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an accomplished Remote Electrical Engineer specializing in power distribution systems to join its global engineering team. You will design, analyze, and optimize medium- and low-voltage networks while ensuring reliability and efficiency from a fully remote position.

The role requires 7+ years of experience, a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, and proficiency with CYME, ETAP, and PSS/SINCAL.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
Minimum 7 years in electrical power distribution engineering.
Experience with power system analysis software (CYME/ETAP/PSS® SINCAL).
Experience with renewable energy integration is a plus.

Responsibilities

Design and develop electrical distribution systems, including substations, feeder circuits, and protection schemes.
Perform load analysis, fault studies, and protection coordination for distribution networks using specialized software.
Specify and select distribution equipment such as transformers, switchgear, and protective relays.
Develop and review electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and construction drawings.
Collaborate with project managers, field engineers, and utility partners in a remote capacity.
Contribute to grid modernization initiatives and smart grid technologies.
