Placements24 is seeking a Remote Electrical Engineer specializing in grid modernization to join a distributed engineering team. You will design and implement advanced solutions to enhance reliability, efficiency, and sustainability of electrical grids, working from anywhere in a fully remote capacity.

The role focuses on smart grid technologies, renewable energy integration, and energy storage, with collaboration across global stakeholders.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with power systems specialization.
5+ years in electrical utility engineering focusing on grid modernization.
Proficiency in grid simulation and modeling software.
Experience with renewable energy integration, energy storage, and microgrids.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills for remote work.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

Design and develop solutions for smart grid technologies, including SCADA, AMR, and DER integration.
Analyze grid performance data to identify improvements and modernization strategies.
Develop technical specifications, P&IDs, and documentation for grid upgrades.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams globally to ensure project success.
Conduct feasibility studies and provide expert consultation on grid modernization.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in power systems and renewables.
