Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Quality Control Analyst for a fully remote role within South Africa, coordinated from Pietermaritzburg. You will perform analytical testing (HPLC, GC, UV-Vis) on raw materials, in-process samples and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications and regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related sciences, at least 2 years in a pharmaceutical QC laboratory, and strong data analysis with attention to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences or a related science discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a pharmaceutical Quality Control laboratory.
• Hands-on experience with HPLC, GC, UV-Vis spectrophotometers and titrators.

Responsabilités

• Perform analytical testing on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products per established methods.
• Analyze results against specifications and report deviations (OOS) promptly.
• Maintain detailed lab records compliant with cGMP.
• Calibrate and troubleshoot laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy.
• Participate in method validation and transfer activities.
• Review and approve test data generated by other analysts.
• Ensure safety protocols and maintain a clean home-based lab workspace.
