Placements24 is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Analyst to join their manufacturing facility in Pretoria. The role ensures pharmaceutical products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements before release, performing analytical tests and interpreting results.

You will operate lab equipment, maintain calibration, and document findings while adhering to GMP and safety procedures. The position offers collaboration across teams to uphold quality in the pharmaceutical supply chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, or a related scientific discipline.
• 1-3 years of experience in a pharmaceutical quality control laboratory setting.
• Proficiency with analytical techniques such as HPLC, UV-Vis spectrophotometry, and dissolution testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine analytical testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products using validated methods.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functioning.
• Accurately record and report test results, investigate any out-of-specification (OOS) results, and assist in root cause analysis.
• Adhere strictly to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and laboratory safety procedures.
• Maintain laboratory documentation and records in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Participate in method validation and transfer activities as required.
