Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years' experience as a Payroll Accountant or in a payroll-focused role.
• Strong knowledge of South African payroll legislation and tax requirements.
• Proficiency with VIP Payroll, Sage Payroll and accounting systems.
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Stable internet access and dedicated workspace.

Responsabilidades

• Manage end-to-end payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Process payroll inputs: new hires, terminations, salary changes, bonuses.
• Ensure compliance with SA payroll taxes (PAYE, UIF, SDL) and returns.
• Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Generate and distribute payroll reports to management.
• Liaise with external payroll providers and authorities.
• Assist with month-end closing related to payroll expenses.
• Maintain accurate employee payroll records.
• Stay updated on changes in payroll legislation and best practices.
• Provide support for payroll queries from employees and management.
