Blacksmith Agency LLC is looking for a Sales Development Representative to open doors and drive pipeline across South Africa. You will own the top of the funnel, researching accounts, identifying decision makers, and booking initial discovery meetings for our Account Executives.

This role emphasizes thoughtful outreach over generic spam, using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to maintain high-quality touches and hit volume goals.

Qualifications

• 2 years in SDR/BDR role; agency or SaaS exp a plus.
• Strong written communication and ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
