Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking an ambitious Sales Development Representative to drive early-stage pipeline across South Africa. You will research and target ideal accounts, identify decision makers, and craft personalized outreach via email, LinkedIn and phone to book discovery calls for our Account Executives.

You will work remotely within South Africa, using tools like Salesforce, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo to maintain a clean pipeline and hit volume goals with quality touches.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR/BDR role (agency or SaaS a plus).
• Strong written communication and ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and provide feedback to sales team.
