The ideal candidate has 5+ years in network engineering, strong routing/switching knowledge, and CCNA/CCNP certifications are highly desirable.Flexibility to work across time zones is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and plan network installation strategies, including topology, IP addressing, and configuration templates.
• Provide expert remote technical guidance and support to on-site installation teams during network deployments.
• Develop and document detailed installation procedures and best practices for various network components.
• Perform remote configuration and initial testing of network devices (routers, switches, firewalls, access points).
• Troubleshoot complex network issues encountered during or after installation, identifying root causes and implementing solutions.
• Conduct remote validation and performance testing to ensure networks meet design specifications and quality standards.
• Collaborate with project managers, vendors, and client IT staff to ensure seamless project execution.
• Maintain accurate network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and inventory.
• Stay abreast of emerging networking technologies and industry trends to enhance installation methodologies.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of network deployment processes and tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering, with a strong focus on network design, implementation, and support.
• Proven expertise in routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), switching technologies, firewall configuration, and wireless networking.
• Experience with network monitoring tools and packet analysis.
• Excellent understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues remotely.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to guide and influence remote teams effectively.
• Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment is essential.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
