Job summary

Assist World is seeking a polished Medical Practice Virtual Assistant for a boutique, cash-only dermatology practice in Manhattan. The role is fully remote, handling high-volume inquiries, scheduling, billing, and digital operations to deliver a five-star, HIPAA-compliant patient experience.

The candidate will triage inquiries, schedule in EDVAC EMR, issue superbills, manage patient data and waitlists, and enforce cash-only policies with discretion and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Strict HIPAA/privacy compliance in a remote clinic setting.
• Practical experience with EDVAC or similar EMR systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication for affluent clients.
• Ability to enforce fee and cancellation policies professionally.
• Highly autonomous with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Inbound triage and patient onboarding across calls and digital channels.
• EMR scheduling and upfront payment processing per policy.
• Superbill creation and delivery for out-of-network claims.
• Coordinate clinical communications, tests, and prescription requests.
• Maintain waitlists and pipeline to maximize clinic capacity.
