Placements24 is seeking a proactive Media Outreach Coordinator to drive PR efforts remotely from Randburg, Gauteng. You will engage journalists, bloggers and influencers to secure coverage and build lasting media relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, PR, Journalism, or a related field.
• 3+ years in media relations, PR, or communications with outreach focus.
• Proven track record of securing media coverage and pitches.
• Extensive network of media contacts across sectors.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong research and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple outreach campaigns.
• Proficiency in media monitoring and CRM tools.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work remotely.

Responsabilités

• Identify and research relevant media outlets, journalists, and influencers for outreach.
• Develop and execute targeted media outreach plans to secure coverage.
• Craft compelling pitches, press releases, and media materials.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with media contacts.
• Manage incoming media inquiries and coordinate responses.
• Monitor media coverage and report on outreach effectiveness.
• Collaborate with the internal communications team on campaign strategies.
